Notion alternative threads on Reddit
How to find high-intent threads from people comparing Notion to other tools—and how to participate without spamming.
Founders often assume demand is invisible because nobody emails them. On Reddit, demand shows up as comparison posts: people describe their stack, what broke, and what they are willing to switch to.
Your job is not to jump every thread with a link. It is to find posts where the OP lists constraints—team size, offline needs, API requirements, price band—and reply with a sharp tradeoff-based answer.
What to look for in threads
- Search for “alternative to Notion”, “leaving Notion”, or competitor names in relevant subs (startups, SaaS, productivity, niche verticals).
- Sort by New for speed; use Top / Week to see which angles get traction.
- Quote their constraint in the first sentence of your reply.
- Track thread → click → signup so you know which subreddits actually convert.
